How To Get Started

If you need additional support in preparation for the HiSet exam, your first step is to take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE).  Missoula Academic Success Program offers this assessment free to students planning to enroll in classes.  The TABE is used to assess your educational needs.  It can also determine your readiness to take the HiSET or college-level classes.  The TABE is offered on various days and times.  Please call to schedule.

For other locations call 549-8765 for TABE testing schedule and class hours

MCPS ASP also works with local employers to help screen applicants for employment and/or training by administering the TABE. The cost of the TABE test is $25.
