At the Lifelong Learning Center, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not share mobile information, including text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your consent and opt-in data are solely for the purpose of receiving updates directly from us and will not be shared with any external parties.

Participation and Age Requirements

Students must be at least 16 years of age to register and attend adult education classes. Only registered students are allowed in the classroom. Auditing or viewing classes is not permitted. Children are not permitted to accompany parents to classes unless it is a parenting class and specified in the description.

Special Needs

If you require special services (i.e. access to elevators, sign language interpreters, etc.) call the Adult Education office at 549-8765 two weeks before the class begins or if registering prior to that, at the time of registration.

MCPS reserves the right to cancel classes or make any changes in the content and provisions of this class schedule without notice.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations 96 hours prior to the class start time will receive a 100% refund.
  • Cancellations less than 96 hours prior to the class start time will receive a 75% refund.
  • Once classes have begun no refunds will be issued.
  • Should the Adult Education Office cancel a class you will be notified and receive a 100% refund.
    Classes held at school district locations that close due to inclement weather will be canceled. Announcements will be made on local radio and TV. Refunds may not be available if classes can not be rescheduled.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you attend the first class or the first hour of a one-session class and the class did not meet your expectations, you may receive a full refund if you notify us within 24 hours of the class start time.
